Imperfectly Perfect Senior Portraits for free-spirited, adventurous girls. If I had to subtitle who my clients are and how we get the stunning images that we do, that’s the subtitle.
Expressive moments
I don’t believe in standing against a tree with your arms crossed or contrived images that look forced and unnatural. I believe in windswept hair, expressions of being lost in the moment and belly laughter with head tossed back and mouth wide open. Those are the moments that convey feelings.
Senior portraits that pull at your heart
The photos we captured of Skylar’s senior portraits fit into all the those categories. My heart goes pitter patter when she and her mom put this photo in their have to have pile. Why? Because it’s one of my unspoken favorites. I love how she’s looking down and squeezing the water out of her dress so that we could get it to swish while her hair gently blows across her face. For me, this photo is imperfectly perfect.
Favorites of a free-spirited adventure
There are 3 other sets of images from different outfits and locations. Follow me on Instagram and I’ll be posting those there. This may be my favorite set because Skylar was all in on trekking across a little island and then again out into the water at sunset for this really special set of senior photos.
Traditional vs. Editorial
I’ll always ensure I photograph some slightly more traditional photos just in case grandparents lean towards that type of image. And then you know, I will always go towards the more editorial feel.
