You have to take that first step though.
I was running towards an adventure, a bigger world with more possibilities. That one decision opened up my world in ways that were life changing.
The most favorite image of myself is in Martinique; not much older than the teens I photograph now. I can recall that exact day and how I felt.
It reminds me of my experiences, feeling beautiful from the inside out and, ultimately, why I became a photographer, to capture emotions.
it actually wasn't running away...
I was fresh out of college, sharing a Manhattan apartment and working at a prominent magazine.
Fast forward a year to feeling like I can't breathe.
Within a few weeks, I made a career change, applied, interviewed, and left to work for Club Med Martinique.
