Living my Dream: Beach Shoots “down” the Shore
NJ shore photoshoots make me so happy. The kind of happy that has me tingling all over. This summer has had my calendar booked with beach shoots “down” the shore. For those of you not from NJ, that’s how we say going to the ocean. Between the dreamy, laughter filled beach shoots and spending quality time with loved ones, I’ve been feeling completely lit up. It’s been a while since I’ve checked in and I have so many senior photoshoots plus others to show and tell but for now I thought I’d give you a quick “day in the life of” how I’ve been spending my summer.
Last Saturday: the best of days
Early Morning Couples Shoot in Point Pleasant
The day started with an early morning couples shoot in Point Pleasant. The light was perfect, the beach was empty and of course all the snuggles too. There’s something magical about capturing moments at sunrise and not surprisingly, we ended up in the water, laughing.
Beach Day with Mr. Paige P and Good Friends
After the shoot, I spent the day on the beach with Mr. Paige P and some good friends. We soaked up the sun, splashed in the waves, took a beach walk and enjoyed the perfect sunny weather.
Late Afternoon DREAMY Senior Photoshoot in Avon by the Sea
In the late afternoon, I had the most dreamy senior photoshoot in Avon by the Sea. And when I say “in,” I mean it—stay tuned for those incredible shots! It was a last minute booking from a senior 3.5 hours away and was “adamant” as her mom said, to booking with me. Everything fell perfectly into place. It was truly one of the best days, which is saying a lot because I rarely book two shoots in one day!
Dinner with Mr. Paige P
We ended the day in Asbury Park with a hard cider and fish tacos, yummmm, yes please! And that….is more or less how I’ve been spending my summer.
We’ve spent long days on the beach with my son and daughter and have had “a night” at DJais. For those of you not familiar with this “establishment”, you don’t often see parents there. Let’s leave it at that – LOLZ!!! It’s become an annual outing and it has us feeling like 25 again (for one night of the year)!
I’ve also been shooting up in northern NJ with clients coming from all over the state and out-of-state to have their senior pictures taken with me. Am I grateful? Beyond.
