WHAT IS A SENIOR PHOTOSHOOT?

A Paige P. photoshoot is an alternative to the generic yearbook pictures. It helps you capture your daughter as the child that she still is. It highlights her personality in a magazine editorial style experience complete with a pre-shoot styling consultation, professional hair and makeup, multiple outfits and multiple locations. It’s a time for her to let go during this stressful time in her life. To have fun, laugh and get lost in the moment.  To feel incredibly special. It’s a time for both of you to celebrate this huge milestone of her leaving childhood and stepping into adulthood.

WHEN ARE SENIOR PICTURES TAKEN?

End of Junior year: April – August

Senior year: Sept – May (June is crazy with graduation) or early July.

WHY WOULD I DO THIS? IT’S NOT A HAVE TO HAVE.

No, you’re right…until she walks out that door at the end of senior year as an adult and the child in her is gone. Then it becomes a have to have, BUT, it’s too late. Your little girl grew into a teen and transitioned into a young woman quicker than you could have possibly imagined. I can’t freeze time but with 15 years of photographing children and teens, as well as being a mom, I know how to capture her essence. You’ll have the story of who your daughter is just before stepping away from her final days of childhood.

DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH ONLY TEENS?

I photograph teens and up. I believe the best ages are 13, freshman in high school and junior going into senior year of high school. My dream is to photograph these girls through their lives. I think that would be incredibly special to have beautiful images following her life and telling her story.

WHY DO YOU ONLY PHOTOGRAPH GIRLS?

Honestly? They are way more fun in front of the camera! I love guys and their crazy energy. I grew up with only brothers in an all boy neighborhood. Some of my best friends have been guys, however; something bizarre happens when you turn the camera on them. They freeze up and hate it! If you have a guy who is totally ok with being photographed let’s do it! ONLY if he is 100% on board with it.
