Why your senior pictures need my superpower requires some back story. I promise, it’s entertaining! This is a repost from a few years ago and apparently a lot of readers found it entertaining as well. Here goes.
Shutdown
The cops came and the party was shut down. WHAAAATTTT?!! Can I tell you that it has been a “few” years since I’ve been at a party that was too loud and shut down. We were dancing, dancing and well I could get into more details but I’d rather not:D!
Kicked out!
THEN the following weekend we were having a celebration dinner for Mr. Paige P.’s birthday. It was getting late and then later and then the lights started flicking! The restaurant’s polite, not so polite way of letting us know it was really late and time for us to be going!
Having Fun
Two weekends later we find ourselves at a college bar/club with my son and his friends. Doing what college students are really good at…having FUN!
Can I tell you, secretly, that I felt like I was 20 again which in a very circuitous way gets me to why I love working with kids, particularly freespirits. They’re really easy for me to connect with.
The buzz lately is to find your super power. I know mine.
My SUPER POWER is that I can get them feeling comfortable in front of my camera reeeeeeeallly fast. They feel completely free to get lost in the joy of the moment while I’m capturing the heart of their personality.
Your win
Why is that good for you? It means you’ll have teen portraits, senior pictures that are full of life. Full of their life. Isn’t that what every mom treasures? Images of your child’s spirit, personality, with all the feels?
I’ve been booking fall photoshoots and my calendar is filling up. Get in touch to talk about what your teen’s superpowers are and how we can make them shine through on camera.
