Senior portraits at the beach are now kicking off with Memorial Day (unofficial start of summer) just around the corner. There’s something incredibly special about senior portraits at the beach. It’s that warm air, sun on your face, sense of freedom that make these such a memorable experience.

Beach photoshoot details

I provide this type of photoshoot on a limited basis during June, July and August. They’re my absolute favorite and we can structure them a few different ways but regardless of how we do that, the images are always incredible. I’ve done these as individuals portraits, as a group of friends or as a 1-hour photoshoot, all of which include individual images for senior pictures. A lot of times it’s done during your family vacation which adds a whole other layer of memories.

Here are some questions to ask yourself about beach senior portraits before we connect. Is this taking place during your vacation or is this an individual trip to the beach? Would you like to do this as an individual photoshoot? With friends or family? When answering the prior questions ensure it’s what your senior will be most comfortable with. Convenience and being at ease don’t always align for a teen.

Beach senior portraits require pre-planning as well as the fact that they book quickly. I have one spot open for June and several for July and I’ve now opened up August.
