The football game was over and Mr. Paige P. was flipping through the channels trying to find anything to watch for a few minutes before he went up to bed. I was reading and not really paying attention. He left for upstairs and said, this is for you. I looked up and my favorite movie was on. Pretty Woman. I’ve watched it a bazillion times; I love a fairytale!

Do you know what my favorite part is? At the very end when Richard Gere asks her what happens after the prince saves her, she says

She saves him right back.

Yes, it’s a Cinderella story, yes the whole Cinderella storyline is NOT “girl power” but I love how Pretty Woman turns it around! Okay, where the heck am I going with this story?

The other day during my photoshoot Alexa, in the middle of the field, a fairytale setting in and of itself, yelled over to her mom,

Who am I? This doesn’t feel real!

And do you know what her mom called back to her?

You’re a princess for the day!

Alexa, between laughter and spins shouted

THIS IS SO MUCH FUN, BEST DAY EVER!

This is why I do what I do. I continue to run my business for the days when a seventeen year old girl who laughs easily, has personality to spare and an eternal twinkle in her eye can’t help but get lost in the moment feeling like she’s living in a fairytale.

Give her that dream come true moment….The one she didn’t even know she was dreaming about.
